About us
Haizea Trio is a woodwind ensemble based in the Netherlands. Gita, Anai and Neus come from different parts of Spain, but met for the first time in the city of Amsterdam. These young artists have studied their master’s degree at the Conservatory of Amsterdam, excelling in their respective disciplines.
Haizea Trio was born out of friendship, shared interests, and the ambition to create and share music. Having performed on numerous stages, they contributed to the recovering of 20th-century Dutch music with the recording of Plain Music by Theo Smit-Sibinga.
They offer a diverse range of programs that take listeners on various musical journeys, from original compositions from the Netherlands to arrangements in different styles and periods. Additionally, they often perform as a duo to accommodate the needs of smaller venues.
